UPDATE: Anyway, the seller offered a full refund or replacement. I don't want a refund but this listing deserves 3 stars for customer service. In this world, customer service matters and it matters a lot. So that's 2 stars for the product (although it doesn't claim to be better) and 3 for the service. First off, I have had several D-cell powered plug-in air pumps. I thought having a rechargeable LiON would be great. but the difference in performance is too dramatic. The thing just doesn't move much air. That's my biggest complaint. It takes quite a long time to fill or empty even a small 1-person raft. I can't imagine how long an air mattress lasts. Other complaints: It gets hot. I don't know how long you can safely operate it. The plastic is very thin. It doesn't seem strong at all. Much thinner than anything I had. The power button is weird. You have to turn it over and wait. It just looks cheap. You get what you pay for. For the price I might overlook it all if it had reasonable performance. But it's so slow to use that I'd rather pull out the hand pump and be done with it. It really works, but that's all I can say about it.
