I think the strongest point in this review is the difference in the time it takes my dog to eat 1 cent out of this slow food bowl versus a regular bowl so I will First things first: He ate everything from his normal bowl in 58 seconds He ate everything from this slow feeder bowl in 6 minutes and 27 seconds My puppy hid his food (I don't quite understand why, he's an only child and I don't need to not competing or worrying about where/when his next meal is coming from.He often hiccuped after meals and had a lot of gas (presumably from swallowing as much air as he ate) and I was concerned that I was skeptical this kind of bowl might help, but I'm so glad it's there (and the difference isn't small, it's definitely significant!) Other Din thing I like about this bowl: put it in the dishwasher. sometimes pinches it with his nose (although I do. It slips on the bottom more than his other bowl with a rubber rim). It is made from non-toxic, renewable materials. To be honest I couldn't be happier with this product. It delivers exactly what it promises and more than I ever hoped for. If your dog eats too quickly (for whatever reason), I would definitely recommend this slow feeder!
