It's not the strongest hold, but it helps throughout the day and leaves the beard looking natural. I have a coarse beard and this softens it a bit. If you want more grip, mix Mustache Rub into your palm and it's perfect if you're looking for extra firmness. But for everyday use after a shower, this is the perfect mix. I've tried making my own balms and this one just beats all my experiments. Curse.
