Some comments. The mount on them does not allow for a large protrusion or molding on the tank. No big deal, I just used the command hooks to place the light on the wall just behind the tank. (see photo)2. They keep you warm, no big deal, but tucking them in the hood lets you keep an eye on them.3. They may not show the best fish colors, but they're not bad at all. (I'd love to see a light output chart for you) What I like about the light. 1. You are slim and good looking. Once you remove the sticker that is on their top.2. They are quite light. See photos. The photo is in a room with the lights off, so all the lighting comes from these lights.3. My plants grew very well under it. You are on a 40 gallon CO2 free bow. I will definitely be buying more for other aquariums.
