All in all a good, well-proportioned step stool
Overall this is a nice step stool with good proportions and construction.* Dovetail joint at top* Mortise and wedge cross brace with spikes* Good rubber contact area over full surface of legs. What doesn't interest me is that the wedges used to spread the spikes appeared to be a cheaper wood that is more of a red-orange hue than a walnut hue. Please use a walnut schnitzel! Did my piece also have a few white scratch marks?
