Still have to do light sand
Although appearing smooth, the grains rise when you start painting, meaning a light sanding is required. Some had a "section" of the tree that rendered them unusable, but most were fine. They're big, so if you're going to use them on a Christmas tree, you'll need plenty of space for them. They went well with my project and I had plenty of them, even with the few I threw away for the wood paving. They are not flimsy and I would order them again if I needed a product like this. A good buy for the money.
