After reading all the 1 star reviews I decided to stay away from the vertical stick handle broom. I bought a FuRemover "Duo" lint brush and am very happy with it! This is a 10 inch hand lint brush, the actual brush head measures 5 inches x 1.25 inches at its widest point and tapers at the ends. thicker silicone dog grooming bristles on the other side. We have a medium-sized Maine Coon, a white German Shepherd, and a 15-pound Pomeranian that no "pet vacuum" can get past our upholstery and carpeted steps. I can spend 40 minutes vacuuming a level flight of stairs and still see so much fur, not to mention vacuuming at least a couple of times. This brush sweeps all of the fur easily and quickly, and the silicone head creates static Electricity. load so that the fur adheres easily. And it's easy to remove and recycle. This helps to roll up the fur after removing it from the brush so there is no static cling of the wool. Pros: It is very easy to maneuver and easily fits into almost any space. Works great on carp. and upholstery too. The only downside is that you have to be physically able to bend down to sweep the fur. If you have a fur problem in your home I would definitely recommend this brush.
