First cup: I liked it. Tastes so much better than coffee from my filter coffee machine, nothing like it. Strike and taste coffee from my small French press. I bought these because this type of coffee maker got great reviews in an article I read and then shavings fell off the glass rim of my French press. It is also durable and very easy to use and clean with its own stainless steel filter. Encore after the second and third cup: Yes, the coffee simply tastes so much better than the coffee from my old Mister Coffee filter coffee machine.
