What a wonderful invention! These are textured (safe and strong) polypropylene sheets. You just rip one out of the roll, wet it and wipe it off. It's soft enough to be folded or crumpled, but textured enough to rub. Rinse when done. Everything comes out at once. You can even wash it in dish soap just like you would wash, rinse and use any plastic food storage container over and over again. I don't think it will smell because there are few bacteria. I use them to wipe dishes before putting them in the dishwasher. A much better choice than smelly kitchen towels, microfibers, sponges and brushes.
