A bit pricey but worth it! This reading is going to be a bit technical, but bear with me. If you don't know the VSWR, a quick explanation: Below 2:1 is good. In my setup (your may be different) 2 meters has an SWR of 1.4 at 146MHz. 70 cm had an SWR of 1.7 at 446 MHz. Additional value came from experimenting with UHF frequencies covering GMRS with an SWR of 1.6 at 462.7MHz and 1.4 at 467.7MHz repeater input. So I tried that on the VHF side of the MURS frequencies and found that 151.8MHz is an SWR of 1.7 and 154.6MHz is an SWR of 1.6. All readings are from the MFJ 269 antenna analyzer, so this antenna alone seems to cover your personal VHF UHF radio needs! Enjoy!
