Review on ๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Precision Tools Combination Square with Sturdy Metal Body - 1794468 by Jeff Bridgewater

Revainrating 3 out of 5

The hand feel is terrible. . .

This tool is fairly cheap, and you get what you pay for: a small, palm-sized, square, functional device; End of the story. There is no balance, materials, or attention to detail in toolmaking, making it a pleasure to hold or use on a regular basis. The body of the square is heavier than required for a simple square and is paired with a very light blade. The processing of what I received was poor. The edges of everything were sharp. The blade is mild steel, and mine showed the soft metal ramp where the factory shears cut the blades apart. The general impression is that this instrument is simply cheap, heavy, uncomfortable to hold and feels unbalanced. This would be a good tool for the owner's home tool bag, but it is not a tool that a handyman would want or expect to keep or keep for long.
