Review on 💇 Enhance Your Professional Cutting Experience with Trend DWS CP8 Double Sided Professional by George Johnson

I have a smaller Sharpal diamond insert that cuts well but is a bit small and has slightly raised edges. I was looking forward to swapping this plate out for this trending cymbal based on Rob Kosman's recommendations, but was very disappointed. The plate is a good size and weight. The grits are fine for me, but I would have preferred a slightly coarser grit on both sides. It was well packaged and came with a nice carry case, silicone/rubber non-slip mat, instructions and eraser. The extra features are frankly worthless to me as they would be of very little use if they were needed at all. The problem is in the plate itself. I immediately noticed two fairly deep pits, measuring just under an eighth of an inch, on the rough side. Thought I'd test it out by smoothing down the back of an old chisel that needed some maintenance. The thin side has wavy grooves where you can feel the chisel move up and down as it sharpens. Overall, at this price point ($116), I was expecting a much better product.
