This is a great extension cord if you just want to set timers and forget about them, but if you want it to be able to control your stuff from anywhere in the world this plug just isn't right for you, believe me. It refuses to stay connected to the router in my house, so I can't control items outside of my house. If I wanted a timer extension, I would buy it for about $10 less, not to mention I bought this extension as a replacement. I bought it to be able to control it anywhere. So yeah, not worth it. Was going to buy three more until I found out it wouldn't stay connected to the router. UPDATE ONE WEEK AFTER INITIAL REVIEW: Completely useless extension cord. It doesn't even work with the programmed timers you set for it. Don't buy junk.
