Review on ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ Camco 43511 White Compact Dish Drying Rack by Russ Montgomery

Alternative usage idea and GREAT multitasking!

LOVE! Haven't tried it as a dish dryer, but for storing dishes in the camper? BIG! I use Corelle utensils because they have large plates, are thin, fold tightly, and are "resistant" to breakage, meaning I don't want them to slip along the way. So everything in this one block, back to front, 3-4 dinner plates, dinner plates, then appetizer plates --- everything is on the rim plus cups on the side holders. When you're on the go, simply tip all the plates forward and, if necessary, attach a kitchen towel insert and everything is held in place. The plastic slats that serve as plate dividers are quite sturdy and wide enough to accommodate multiple plates at each point for added security when traveling. Meanwhile, it's a great top cabinet space saver, holds lots of plates (even bowls if you arrange them properly) and each size is easily accessible and visible inside/outside. As for using it as a dish dryer, it holds a lot more than I expected despite being small, and the water-collecting base with a front drain hole snaps onto the top of the dryer. Really handy little device, super well thought out.

Pros
  • Slanted drain pan helps keep counter dry
Cons
  • Minor issues
