This 2-way splitter worked fine in my situation, but note that the splitter appears to have a few diodes which may affect its applicability in your situation. Perfect fit for mine. Setup (see photo uploaded): We have a TV below powered by an attic antenna boosted by an RCA amplifier purchased from Revain. RCA Amplifier Link: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/ B003P92D9Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The power supply/insert is located on the bottom of the TV and the amplifier is next to the antenna mounted in the attic. The inserter below returns about 19. 7V DC via center coax cable to amplifier / We added a TV to the upstairs bedroom and I split the amplified antenna cable with this splitter to power the new TV. Both televisions are now receiving a strong and clear signal. About diodes. In the photo uploaded I have sketched the visible internal DC circuit of the splitter. My guess is that the diodes are added to prevent DC from being passed from the powered output of the splitter to the second output which may have a device that doesn't expect DC and isn't designed for it. This eliminates the need for a DC bypass capacitor on our upstairs TV. A good idea, since a bypass capacitor adds additional unwanted signal loss. Hope my photo makes it clear.
