Review on SAMSUNG Internal Gaming MZ V8P2T0B AM by Adam Nikodem ᠌

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Absolutely unusable product, not suitable for use.

I'm not a miner, I don't even know how! But I exploit the disks quite intensively, tk. I often run various tests related to software and DBMS. My hobby is this! I always monitored the temperature - it was always in the "green" zone. Maybe 2-3 times only - when I started checking the disk for errors (!), The temperature was more than 50 Celsius. Bought NEW discs in a well-known computer store. According to the serial, the release date shows June 2022. And you know what's the most annoying thing? These are all these vaunted marketing gadgets: - intelligent temperature control - super-intelligent "fixers" and "followers" for errors - over provisioning - and other marketing junk All this will not save your data and will not even signal a problem! It just starts to fail at a certain moment, the system freezes, files are not copied, and at first you don’t even understand why! And then you run the full diagnostics, and there, mamma mia! Difiga bad sectors already! And it's good if you have time to catch a working system and copy it. Or maybe it just won't load at some point. I have always appreciated Samsung, but there are no words here! 3 out of 3! I have the right to say that this is not an accident, but a threshing floor!

Pros
  • The speed is good. They don't get very hot
Cons
  • There were 3 identical disks 980 PRO on 2 TB. The first one died after 8 months of operation on a recording volume of less than 100 TB. Those. 8% of the declared resource was developed ! At the same time, I specially reserved 20% of the capacity as an additional buffer - I thought it would live "forever". He's just DEAD! Now it hangs only for reading - for writing it was completely blocked. The second and third discs started to get errors while recording 45-50 TB! 3 disks out of 3 became unusable in less than 10 months! Lord, what's going on?
