The camera is good, the equipment is not very good.

The camera is good but if I had to buy it again I would only buy the camera and main lens and buy accessories separately. Luckily I already had a very good tripod because the one in this kit was a joke! The legs are about the diameter of a #2 pencil and about 2 1/2 feet tall when fully extended. Telephoto and wide-angle "lenses" aren't really lenses, they're adapters that screw onto a standard lens, giving you a round image that looks like you're looking through a tube, rather than a full picture. I haven't had a chance to test the filters yet. I'm happy with the camera but a bit disappointed with the quality of the accessories. Even the flash is weak compared to what I had with my old Canon ae1.
