I bought the Onyx Boox Note 3 primarily to keep up with work projects. This is a great note taker. I decided between the Nova 3 and this Note 3, but ended up with the Note 3 because it's larger for work notes (about a smaller notebook), easy to carry, and more powerful than the Nova 3. (Nova has 32GB and 3GB of RAM, while the Note 3 has 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM). The device has good resolution for taking notes and reading PDF files. It also accepts many other formats. The pen is often scolded, but when it's not being used for technical drawing, it's a very good note-taking tool. The worst thing about this device is the plastic screen protector - honestly, it's unnecessary and scary to put the device on. The device's response to typing is just fantastic and very fast. I also installed several Android 10 apps for everyday use and they all work very well. Besides work I use it for reading news, it comes with an optimized browser (Neobrowser) which is very simple and works better when scrolling a website by directly adjusting the eink resolution (without changing the resolution in the device in the options menu to change). . The only thing the Nova 3 is better than this is its resolution - if you're using a device to read a book in bed at night, the Nova 3 is probably your best option as it's slightly smaller and the resolution (because the screen is smaller) is better.
