Dishonest Company - No Guarantee

I bought the Note3 and Lumi in February. Both immediately registered a guarantee, as did all the electronics. I bought a Revain Boox. The other is on FlexShopper to use the 90 day payment option. FlexShopper buys an item from Revain and then rents it to you. I'm not talking, you will understand why I offered this information. Anyway, one of my pens started writing on its own. Serious. I point the stylus at the tablet and it just draws. Obviously a broken pen. Instead of returning the tablet, Iโ€ฆ

Fantastic note taker and perfect size to take with you

I bought the Onyx Boox Note 3 primarily to keep up with work projects. This is a great note taker. I decided between the Nova 3 and this Note 3, but ended up with the Note 3 because it's larger for work notes (about a smaller notebook), easy to carry, and more powerful than the Nova 3. (Nova has 32GB and 3GB of RAM, while the Note 3 has 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM). The device has good resolution for taking notes and reading PDF files. It also accepts many other formats. The pen isโ€ฆ

Pros
  • OTG support: SD cards, keyboards, mice and other advanced tools can be connected to your device without drivers.
Cons
  • Infinitely slow

Great idea but horrible ghosting on screen

Combining Android with an e-ink/e-paper tablet is a fantastic idea. But I encountered many problems. ghosting. The biggest problem for me is the ghosting that remains on the screen when scrolling through pages, opening settings or writing/deleting notes. Even though I adjusted the setting to leave the least amount of ghosting, there was still a lot of leftover overlap when I opened and closed different apps and the like. Neobrowser: The built-in browser is meant to make websites easier to readโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Real handwriting feel: Mobius' flexible screen with flat AG glass lens gives you the feeling of writing with a pen on paper without glare.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Ideal for engineering students and other tech-savvy people.

I am currently studying computer science and therefore do a lot of handwritten homework. Last semester I mainly used paper for my assignments and notes, but I ended up using about 400-600 sheets of paper. It's hard to sort, to keep in order, and once I lost a task altogether. One solution is to digitize them with Adobe Scan or similar. Getting a good result is a big problem and that's why I was looking for another technology. I've used other graphics tablets for homework, but they usually haveโ€ฆ
