Flooding is not a problem for me.

I took it diving in Belize and Cozumel. The light worked well on 70/65/45 and 40ft, 4 dives. It's still juice in the light, I turn it on when I'm shooting in dimly lit places. It is very easy to turn on/off and change the brightness underwater. Be careful, if the latch/battery won't close, reseat the battery and it should close without much effort, or something is misaligned. If I figured it out before diving, no problem.
