The lower the K value of the lamp exit temperature, the warmer (yellower) the light should appear. I have no way of measuring the Kelvin scale and I have no reason to doubt the manufacturer's claim that these lamps are rated at 2700K. But 2700K is still a lot in the white spectrum. The pears themselves are fine. I like the vintage look. The lamps are bright, too bright for what I would have preferred. It is assumed that a 2W LED is equivalent to a 15W incandescent lamp. 15 watts alone might not be a lot of light, but when combined with a few dozen other 15 watt lights; much light is emitted. We bought a dimmer box (available elsewhere on Revain) that allows the bulbs to be run at 25% power (which is still more than enough). The bulbs are plastic and have never broken. None of them failed after a long summer of regular use. Overall that's good, but I wish they were even warmer and half as bright.
