This is a beautiful, stable shower bench! This January I bought a highly-recommended plastic & metal shower chair (for myself to use post hip surgery) with arms and a back - and it was wobbly, unstable, and highly unsafe! When my 91YO Mom broke her ankle 4 months later, I knew she needed something much more secure. This teak bench is perfect - fits in her small shower, is level thanks to the adjustable knobs on each foot, does not slide around, and does not wobble at all. It is amazingly simple to assemble and precision-engineered. Highly recommended.
