This is the only phone holder that fits my 2020 RAV 4 Limited. SUCTION just doesn't last very long on the windshield. The VENT clip on phone holders tends to move. One of the two takes the cup holder for the phone in the car. So I tried this option and was very pleased with (1) the ability to accommodate clips in many places on this car, (2) a very strong spring that can withstand the weight of the iPhone 11 Max Pro on rough roads, and (3 ) the ability to rotate the holder vertically, horizontally or 360 degrees at will. It holds my phone with the holder on the back if (1) you only use one holder clip but make sure it's taut, or (2) move the holder holder up slightly - if you can - so that both phone clips - - Extended by pressing the center side adjuster - can hold the phone even with the extra thickness of protective edge you could use. I don't think this holder will work with a super thick Otter type phone case, but I've never tried it. I am very thankful for this design as all other attempts have failed and although I have a car GPS I use the phone hands-free while driving or confirm directions with the iPhone's Maps app.
