Not quiet, but good enough!
I bought this because my work laptop has a terrible very very loud sound. This solved the problem, but there is still some digital audio noise. You need to turn off 50% of the microphone in Windows settings or people will hear a constant high-pitched beep from you in meetings. With a normal line out it's pretty quiet, not exactly quiet but good enough. Great for the price.
