Ordered when the bonnet support broke on my wife's 2000 Honda Civic. I didn't want a factory/dealer replacement that I knew would be expensive and I didn't want to put that money into such an old car. I was expecting a cheap bar not to fall the hood on my head, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality and durability of this product. The rubberized ends prevent it from slipping where you place it and it can be adjusted to different heights. Pull it back to its shortest length and it's light and small enough to stow in the back seat and out of the way.
