Review on Momila Stylus Cleaner by Jason Carranza

A great product at first glance. You can clearly see the dirt and dust left on the sticky surface. It is relatively easy to clean and even more so to use. I used it for a year after each shot, sometimes even between batches. That's probably about 100 uses now and recently I've been wondering if I need to replace the pen. I have an AT-VMN540ML so according to the documentation it should last 1000 hours, give or take about a hundred. That's about 1300 entries, so I probably won't need a replacement. After purchasing a USB microscope and stand, I took the pen out of the cartridge and examined it. Wow. Just. WOW. My impression has changed. Best of all, from what I can gather from other reviews and my visual inspection, the sticky cleaner did two things terribly wrong. 1) It left a sticky residue that dirt and dust would cling to. I took the pen and stayed there. I had to use my fingernail to scrape off some of the dirt! I could have let the photos speak for themselves, but I wanted some wax. I almost showed an "after" photo where I managed to clean my pen a bit, but I figured people might have the opposite impression of this product and I wanted to be clear. DO NOT BUY THIS TYPE OF PRODUCT. PEN WITH A DRY PEN BRUSH.
