These, like phone cases, are designed to protect the watch face. However, like my phone, the protection can tear, but that's because it's taller than the bezel. This creates a false sense of security. If it breaks, you'll think you've protected the screen. However, since it is larger than the face, it is more open than just the face. I took mine off the phone after a few cracks. After 2 years the phone still has no cracks. And a year or more before I put it on my phone I had no problems. The same goes for my current Fenix. I thought this would help. Instead, I've already done 2 of these because of trail running. I haven't worn a third since then. I'm still knocking around but you know what? No screen break. So again a false sense of security. Pure waste of money in my opinion.
