. I bought this DVD mount so my wife and I wouldn't have to keep switching bags/mounts between cars depending on which car we have for long trips take. Now we keep the bag/headrest holder in one car and this holder in another car. The mount was packaged very well and was very easy to assemble. One piece attaches to one side of the headrest, the other to the other, and then they are twisted together with a hex wrench (which was included). There are 3 brackets that slide out to allow you to insert your DVD player and then slide back in to lock it in place. The plastic pieces that slide in and out feel a little flimsy, but nothing has broken so far and I've been using it for a few weeks now. *fingers crossed* The downside of this, which doesn't apply to my situation but might apply to others, is that it can't be removed quickly. Of course it would be easy to remove it, there are only 3 screws, but it would take enough time and you would have to plan to move it. I compare it to just detaching it with another DVD holder/case we had and it would detach. Another reason I bought it is because my son used to grab the DVD player and kick it when it was in our previous holder. We moved the seat as high as possible, but when it grows, the seat doesn't go any further :). I was hoping it wouldn't protrude that far out of the backrest. After installation there was a little more space, but not much. Just something else to consider. All in all definitely worth the money! Very easy to set up and use. It's always there when you need it and out of the way when you don't!
