Review on ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Portable USB Cool Mist Mini Air Humidifier: Perfect for Home, Office, Travel, and Car Use with Dual Mist Mode and Water Leakage Protection (180ML) by Aaron Martz

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A jar worthy of a cooling mist and running on a USB port

I really liked this little personal humidifier. When I first got it, I thought it was too small and limited to be of any use. I've been using it ever since as it humidifies the air fairly quickly which I appreciate as it can get pretty dry in winter. At the same time, he has to be next to me to benefit from it. This little humidifier holds about a glass of water at a time, so it needs frequent refilling depending on the setting you use. There are 2 settings available: 1) blue light which has a continuous cool mist coming from above and 2) red light which rotates between 10 second fogging cycles and then no fogging for 10 seconds, extending the life of the water becomes . The fog is really cool to the touch and spreading. This is toggled on/off and the blue or red light is selected by pressing on a thin clear plastic element just below the top. First press is a blue light/steady cycle, second press is a red light rotating cycle, and another press turns it off. The main limitation of this humidifier is that it is powered by a USB cable. It's a little puzzling as it can't run on battery or be used without connectivity. I plugged this humidifier into a USB port on a charging station that I have. I'm not too keen on the idea of connecting it to a computer or laptop as electronics usually don't particularly like moisture. The power cord is about 39 inches long and is white and thin. I keep a close eye on this simply because I have cats that have chewed through my thicker white phone charger cord more than once. Such a cord will not withstand a gnawing pet. If this is being used in a car it must be a newer car with an available USB port. It comes with an extra cotton swab inserted in the center to absorb water as far as I can tell. The humidifier already has a cotton wick, so it's nice to have an extra one. It's easy to clean and doesn't seem to need a filter to keep nasty things from growing in it. Moist air relaxes my sinuses and nose and helps my eyes. I am rating it 4 stars because it works great as a personal moisturizer. I only wish I could take it to more places if it had a USB port or could hold a charge.
