Review on ASA 4330256138 Jiffyhood by Frank Ridl

When I first laid eyes on this lens hood, I remembered the chunky hoods we wore before headsets became popular, and they didn't impress me. It was easy to use, offered fairly adequate coverage from the outside - not perfect - and made scanning the instrument much easier than fog lights or other goggle-like covers. I was able to move and focus my eyes instead of turning my whole head. Also, it was much better with goggles than with a hood like nebulae - I wasn't trying to constantly adjust the nebulae to allow me to focus through the bifocals. The combination of simplicity and price made it my favorite. The panel of experts from Aviation Consumer Magazin voted it the best.
