I bought these because at 0.5w they were the brightest I could find. However, they are dimmer than the old bulbs on our lighted Christmas tree in front of the gate. They're also darker than the ones in the pre-lit star ornament, making it look like it's not just wood. In a tree with thousands of other lights this is not critical, but in a star ornament where there are only 10 lights the darkness of these bulbs is striking. One star off for lack of brightness. Found some unexploded parts and I used almost half of the 100.
