
This case looks more like a heatsink acting as a case than a case that acts as a heatsink. These are fairly massive, thick aluminum pieces of the cooler that have thermal pads attached. According to reviews, it doesn't work as well as Flirc cases, but it's still a little bit better than nothing. Active fans are probably your best bet if you are ok with the noise/details. The case is beautifully designed so that all ports are accessible, as well as the Pi camera attachment and all external ports. It doesn't cover much of the Pi board (like the edges and the metal of the connectors) so it probably isn't that great for portability, but it will be fine for most people (since I just leave mine on the shelf, is it ok )
