These calipers are fantastic! The customer service was nothing short of excellent. As others have said they send a nice follow up message to see if you are happy and send some tips on use and care. It's a nice touch and they don't overdo it. I think they sent 2 or 3 emails just to make sure I'm happy. I! It appears to be a family business and can be supported. I've used my boss' calipers for years and decided it was time to get my own. He has Mitutoyo digital calipers, which he has owned for over 15 years. There is no doubt that he is fantastic and has stood the test of time. They also (especially back then) cost significantly more than these. When I got them, my boss wanted to see how badly I'd been robbed. He was amazed! You will immediately feel their quality. The slider movement is smooth and they appear to be dead precise. I've used it to test them and they've been right every time. It's nice that you can switch between millimeters, inches and fractions. The "Menu" is simple and bright enough to be seen even on the street. The box they come in is worth keeping for as long as it lasts and they even throw in an extra battery and screwdriver for you. I am very satisfied and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy their first set of calipers or to replace their old workhorse kit.
