day 1-3 of opening the package - this pillow literally smelled from two rooms. Bought this for a friend. The whole bedroom smells so strongly of smore that I really got into the oh my god what have I done gifting phase. It takes about 2 weeks for everything to normalize. Now we're about two months old, the scent is still strong but not overpowering, but it's definitely longevity. The softness is above average, but nothing special. This is amazing value for money and if you think someone needs a scented pillow then go for it. Just be ready for the first few days of living with this person with this thing.
