If I had to rebuild I would get a better lap table. The first one I received was crumpled in the box during shipping, but the other was shipped promptly. It wasn't curved, but it wasn't quite straight either. You might not think it would make a huge difference, but the table is right center top, which keeps my Chromebook's rubber feet from grabbing the surface. The laptop usually has very grippy feet, but these are almost useless on this surface. I have to be careful not to let the computer slip when I move. Otherwise, the lap table is comfortable for my legs and light. It has a slight tilt towards the user as shown in the picture, but I think a more tilt would make the keyboard more comfortable to view and use. The price is positive. I hope the one you buy is flat.
