It's not very easy to measure the size of a photo to fit.

I first used a plain piece of paper to figure out how small the dog picture needed to be cut to fit in the access slot. The ornament does not crumble. You will need to put your photo through the slot at the top for it to snap into place. Not the easiest, but with the help of the template I did not spoil the picture. Otherwise a very attractive piece of jewellery. Bright colors. Happy and beautiful picture frame.
