Even if it's a bit heavy, it's a nice decoration. We cannot use the clamp, just press it against the branches of the tree near the trunk. Remarkable craftsmanship. Excellent colouring/detail. Nice addition to our tree. Would buy again.

I have many Old World Christmas decorations and they are all beautiful. This one is no exception. Really pretty and shiny. I bought it in memory of my brother who passed away two years ago. He asked to sing one of his favorite songs, the Song of the Blue Bird, at his funeral. I will remember him especially when I see this decoration.

These are very well made and detailed pieces. They look real and unlike many other pieces of jewelry are colored very carefully. I like that they don't look cute and silly. They are made of glass and are therefore very fragile. My mother collects them, one of each species, for her Christmas tree. They really sparkle in the light and look amazing with bird nests, berry sprigs and pine cones tucked into evergreen branches.

My husband and I have been collecting glass bird decorations for 15 years and we finally have enough to decorate an entire 8ft Christmas tree. The birds of the Old World are the most outstanding and BEAUTIFUL. This bird is no exception. I only had to give 4 stars because most of the springs were bent. It's not about the production, it's about the packaging. I don't know if it was boxed by the manufacturer or by a retailer who may have issued it.

I have many other bird clips and was happy to add these to my collection; However, when the bird arrived, the feather attached to the bird barely held on. I had to get a hot glue gun and fix the bird in place so it wouldn't sway back and forth. This was disappointing because these birds are generally expensive because they are so small and you just want things to look nice. Very fragile but beautiful.
