Seems to work but expensive for what it does

I already have a dedicated lifepo4 charger for my higher capacity batteries but I bought this so I wouldn't put too many amps into a pair of lifepo4 Batteries with a capacity of 8 Ah pump . It works in it's own way as by jumping through a couple of hoops I can get the voltage on the batteries up to around 14.2 but I'm not sure about all the other properties they claim for this battery. For example, if I intentionally drain the battery before turning off the BMS to test this unit's ability to reset the BMS, it appears to attempt to do so and then the red warning light comes on. As this happens with two different brands of new Lifepo4 batteries which have not been abused in any way and otherwise work properly once I charge them I have to suspect that this unit is giving me a false positive. In fact, when I unplug the device, open the lid. If the battery is discharged and then reconnected, the device will begin to supply power to the battery. Another problem: as soon as the green full charge light comes on, my battery only registers 13.2 volts or so. If I reset the cycle I can get the battery voltage down to around 14.2, after which I disconnect the battery and use it as needed. Aside from that, I can use this device to charge my 8ah lifepo4 so I'll leave it, but it's not really true. an economical solution considering it works almost the same as my other dedicated lifepo4 charger that i bought for less than half the price. I am giving this product three stars because it is not worth the dollar spent.
