These cutting boards are extra large and offer plenty of space to cut many foods without additional boards (e.g. lots of vegetables or fruit, not different foods such as chicken and vegetables!). They are bright and the color coding of the different products is easy to distinguish. I don't mind them "slipping" on the countertop because all the cutting boards I've liked and used over the past decade have moved unless I've held onto them or put a damp towel underneath. (Buy one with legs if that bothers you.) Haven't used a ceramic knife yet, but it looks sturdy and seems to do the job well. Instructions for use and care for both products are included. Be smart and read them!
