Resort Chef Non-Slip Safety Mat: Keep Kitchen Cutting Boards Secure, Hygienic, and Dishwasher Safe Review

Bought this set to replace an old set of mats and it broke the first time we used it to cut chicken breasts. The seller was quick to contact me to ensure the set was replaced and refunded for this (faulty?) mat. While I understand that products vary in quality or are sometimes faulty, I really appreciate the seller's efforts to rectify this. Now I have a happy wife at home, which is priceless in this house!

Don't believe them when they say they can be washed in the dishwasher because the ones I put in the dishwasher warped. One of them was already slightly warped when I first got them, but I didn't care since they were "beef/red meat" which I rarely use. They are difficult to handle as they make it difficult to hold and cut food on an uneven surface. So when you buy them, make sure to hand wash only to avoid deforming.

These cutting boards are extra large and offer plenty of space to cut many foods without additional boards (e.g. lots of vegetables or fruit, not different foods such as chicken and vegetables!). They are bright and the color coding of the different products is easy to distinguish. I don't mind them "slipping" on the countertop because all the cutting boards I've liked and used over the past decade have moved unless I've held onto them or put a damp towel underneath. They're so thin they warp like crazy and you can't stand them up or put them on the counter. They don't sit flat on the counter and act like a stepping stone, bouncing up and down to cut food. Nothing compares to trying to cut something with a razor sharp knife while it's moving up and down and/or spinning. I've always wanted a set of chopping boards that were specifically designed for what you will be using them for and I just LOVE this set! They are durable, wash well and don't get dirty! I would buy them as a gift in a heartbeat and will most likely do so for Christmas! Also the little ceramic knife that comes with it is amazing! This is definitely a great product and it does exactly what we need it to do. Even under our very large chopping board it has a very good grip and the board doesn't slide at all! The only reason I give it 3 stars is because it had a huge sticker on one side. We removed the sticker and it left a lot of marks, essentially a huge stain on one side of the mat that is no longer sticking.
