I use the universal Mobotron computer mount in my car and already have a shackle installed. I still noticed some wobble so I ordered a second brace to stop the wobble and eliminate the extra play. The tube is very strong and the top bracket is solid. The foot end of the bandage is made of plastic on metal and is adjustable. This area seems weak to me as I notice some flexing when I try to stretch it. This leads to the second problem; The braces are adjustable (length) and don't hold me up. It uses a twist lock between the tubes and is initially tight but seems to loosen over time.
