I love that Smell of Victory has a new sportswear scent (which evaporates once it dries). If you remember how a fresh box of band-aids smelled when Band-Aid only made old vinyl band-aids, this is what this stuff smells like. Or, if you remember the thin white vinyl tape that used to be used to stabilize a finger splint, this thing smells just the same. This stuff really works - you have to use it constantly and it gets more effective over time. I have several leather boots in which I have tried almost everything and finally after several uses the smell of sweat has disappeared (not hidden but gone), even after several hours of wearing boots outside on a hot and very stuffy day I cannot detect any smell . Before using this thing, I could smell sweaty, wet skin from a few feet away (no foot odor), but nothing now. I apply it to both the inside and outside of the boots at the end of the day and then put the boots in the Peet shoe dryer which works well. The smell of this material is hardly noticeable after drying. I love that it doesn't have the sweet or fruity scent of essential oils. Just a light smell that goes away quickly.
