I love this bar for my rats! They live in a converted birdcage and I'm having trouble filling the vertical space. They destroy hammocks in 0.2 seconds and like to pee on wooden slats. They showed no real interest in chewing plastic so when I came across it I thought it looked perfect. It's just the right size for the space I needed! The plastic is thick and high quality, with a slightly rough texture for a comfortable grip, but it also rubs very easily. There are no metal parts that could rust. An added bonus that I wasn't expecting is the little hooks on the bottom for hanging toys! That turned out to be a great thing because now I can fill in even more space. The bar is attached with three small nubs and looks nice and secure. Definitely a good investment and I plan to order a few more!
