I don't know how I know if they work well. It seems they are, but I'm not sure if that feeling of "relaxation" is the result of it. I'm hoping this will break down some of that fatty tissue and get my lymph flowing. I had several different styles and brands. These "cubes" work well in the sense that they feel like they go deep inside. I always wonder if I'm the only one who wishes they were a bit wider so they were easier to hold and maneuver to get into tight spots, as well as with a wider cube section. This one is really different than the plastic I have. It feels a little heavier on your body but also seems to get a little deeper, although each throw isn't as aimed because there aren't as many spikes that you see on others. I love this one and am using it more than others at the moment. I think I like having different styles because they seem to work in different ways, each with their own benefits.
