I love the idea of a cordless wet/dry vacuum that doubles as a blower and I trusted the Hoover brand so I was excited to use this product. He could not cope with simple tasks. The vacuum is fairly compact considering I need a good capacity for the dirt it's picking up and it's light enough to carry around. My first disappointment was that the hose is too short to use while standing (and I'm only 5ft 2in tall). This makes it impractical for many intended purposes, such as B. mopping a porch floor. We thought it would still be good for the stairs and car so three members of my family tried it. It sucks well, but the universal nozzle kept falling off with all of us, even after putting it on as firmly as possible. It worked fine on the stairs...for a few minutes and then the battery died. I charged it up, made sure the gauge showed the battery was fully charged, and proceeded to clean the car. I have used both the nozzle and crevice tool on the car and have been very happy with their performance but the battery died after 6.5 minutes of use meaning it took me two charges to vacuum my car which is modest . . Limousine. I assumed the battery was bad and figured that would give me a chance to try Hoover service. I contacted customer service, which operates Central Time, despite the address listed being in Charlotte, NC, and was told the battery should last 15-20 minutes on a single charge. He recommended charging it for 24 hours since the battery was new. I did that and the battery died again in 6 ½ minutes. When I called the company back they told me the battery life should be around 7 minutes. I am extremely disappointed. This product showed promise, but the hose and wand needed to be longer, and the battery, which isn't even long enough to clean a car, is just unsatisfying.
