Review on Best Price Mattress Infused Memory by Will Haglund

Revainrating 3 out of 5

A mattress really could last for decades if rarely used

In my wasted youth I had a herniated disc from a serious injury caused by falling from a horse into a large fallen tree. That's why I've been suffering from chronic back pain of varying degrees ever since. Therefore, a firm lying surface is essential for a restful sleep. When I first received this mattress everything was fine. It expanded fairly well and had minimal offensive odor. Although it looked completely ready to use in just a few hours, I patiently endured the entire process (48 hours) until it was made. At first it felt just as durable and comfortable as the old memory foam model I bought 15 years ago, only this model cost me half the money - what a sweet deal you might think! Then about six weeks ago. (nearly three years later) I started waking up with back pain every day for a week. At first I thought maybe I accidentally did something to cause this unwanted symptom and waited another week for it to go away, but it didn't. I then discovered that the layers of viscose foam (the top two layers of "memory foam") appeared to have broken in the middle of the mattress, making it much softer there than at either end. I may be wrong but I suspect this is the result of using inferior foam! And the fact that I used the old mattress almost constantly for about ten years; finally move into the rarely used guest room; in addition to being still only marginally softer in the middle than at the ends, this confirms that this isn't just an unfounded conclusion based on my frustration - if you get my meaning. ready to throw this one away and temporarily revert to the old one, it occurred to me to flip it just for fun. And while it's probably one of the most durable sleeping surfaces I've experienced (hard floors and hiking aside), I slept well on it for over a month; My back pain was significantly less after two, maybe three nights (really unexpected silver lining!). While it might be a good choice as an economy option for a guest room, I couldn't and wouldn't count on it for long. draw! And it's unlikely I'll ever buy one again. (When will I ever know?) Low prices - cheap basic quality. You rarely get more than what you paid for.
