Review on 🌬️ Kenmore White Medium Air Purifier with HEPA Filtration KAPA3D0AMW by Matt White

Large filter in air purifiers

I live in an apartment building with some mildew. Guess who's allergic to mold? And otherwise the house is very good. While I hope to move to a less moldy building in the future, you can expect too much from any apartment building. It's very clean and in no way the management's fault. You cannot control your neighbors, the environment in general, or the problems of an entire building on your own. (I've stayed in two apartments in this building and both got mold fairly quickly, while the building across the street - in the same building - didn't grow as fast. It took about a month for the adjoining building to grow mold in the bathroom, while it lasts a few weeks i guess because this building faces west so is generally warmer and chest my husband had the issue too we bought another HEPA and it reduced our symptoms significantly but as the tree pollen season I was miserable again. We clearly needed more lighting. So this kid showed up. It's a big square block but it added a lot to the air quality. In fact I think it's the best I've felt since I moved into this building over a year ago.We may have to clean the bathroom again even if there is visible mold, but if you look nice ell taking care of it, I haven't had a stuffy nose/irritable nose and neither has my spouse. The settings are easy to understand and the buttons are easy to use. It also seems to move a lot more air, much faster on the "Turbo" setting, than our other filter designed for a similar room size. That's not to say our other filter is bad, just that this block can be a really good choice if you want to get the job done compared to blocks designed for the same area. The fact that it's larger is probably partly due to the size of the internal fans, as it's actually only pulling air out of the exhaust area when it's running at maximum speed. However, I've found that it sometimes idles with a faint buzz when I set it to automatic, indicating it's "good" air quality. However, if I feel irritation in my throat or nose at this point and switch on turbo mode, it often turns green, which corresponds to "average" air quality with this device. I think it's pulling air from far away so it gets more particles. So it's wise to put the device on turbo mode once or twice a day just to make sure it's pulling in as much air as possible. This is not a negative comment; That's how air works! It really is a very minimal effort. And the big, massive device with the huge fan is very quiet. It's a deep whirlwind, not a high pitched sound. It also has FEET underneath to prevent dust from collecting on the bottom of the device. This is an issue with another HEPA filter. Because it sits directly on top of our dresser and no air can get under it, dust collects on the top of the dresser. No problem with this Kenmore! I added an image with an apple for scaling. It's almost exactly the same dimensions as one of those things that can be safely carried on an airplane. Maybe a bit more (depending on which airline you are used to). If you are looking for a good air filter, this is a good choice.
