I've read a lot about disabling the head parking, that, they say, it is necessary to disable the parking or the disk will live for a year or two. Nothing turned off, it has been working for 4 and a half years. However, I use this disk for file trash, maybe that's why everything is fine. By the way, the green series was conceived for such purposes. It is better to put something faster in all network storages and under system drives, since the drive is really slow for constant exchange of information with the PC.
