I wanted to use this French Press before writing a review because; This is my third french press in 2 years. The other 2 were made of glass. The second press I bought was with a heavier metal body which I thought would absorb some of the heat so the glass wouldn't break, but it did. The glass ones were difficult to clean, screens and/or screws loosened during washing. This French press is great! I was hesitant to buy metal but found that it doesn't alter the taste of the coffee and is EXTREMELY EASY to clean. There are only 2 of these (as opposed to the glass ones) and you just hold the top handle you see in the picture and the screen is easy to remove and SIMPLY screw in. love love love! The only downside is that it's so easy to clean that I make a lot more coffee! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Thank you!
