I've done a lot of research on ironing numbers/letters and the biggest problems have been lack of heat or lack of time. Follow the instructions that come with some modifications. Iron the sweatshirt first to ensure all moisture is gone. I ended up ironing each section for more than 30 seconds on each side - about 20 seconds at a time, but repeated multiple times. And be sure to iron the edges well. Iron inside out according to instructions. The numbers look great and learn. No problems removing the back (at first I was surprised how tight the lining was on the hoodie, but there was no problem with the slow pull down at all). Haven't washed it yet but so good so far! And very glad there were two 1's as we had to make two sweatshirts both needed 1's so it worked out great.
